Aims and Scope
EMJ Respiratory is an open-access, peer-reviewed eJournal committed to helping elevate the quality of healthcare in respiratory medicine by publishing high quality content on all aspects of lung function and respiratory diseases.
The journal is published annually, six weeks after the European Respiratory Society (ERS) Congress, and features highlights from this congress, alongside interviews with experts in the field, reviews of abstracts presented at the congress, as well as in-depth features on congress sessions. Additionally, this journal covers advances within the clinical and pharmaceutical arenas by publishing sponsored content from congress symposia, which is of high educational value for healthcare professionals. This undergoes rigorous quality control checks by independent experts and the in-house editorial team.
EMJ Respiratory also publishes peer-reviewed research papers, review articles, and case reports in the field. In addition, the journal welcomes the submission of features and opinion pieces intended to create a discussion around key topics in the field and broaden readers’ professional interests. EMJ Respiratory is managed by a dedicated editorial team that adheres to a rigorous double-blind peer-review process, maintains high standards of copy editing, and ensures timely publication.
