The European Medical Journal has published the latest edition of EMJ Rheumatology, which includes a full review of the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) congress, a selection of peer-reviewed papers, interviews with members of our esteemed editorial board, and much more.
During an enthralling 4 days in June, in Amsterdam, Netherlands, EULAR 2018 celebrated the success of the ‘Don’t Delay, Connect Today’ campaign, which was internationally launched at last year’s EULAR congress and aimed to raise awareness of rheumatic conditions to encourage earlier diagnosis for better outcomes. The congress has grown significantly, both in terms of participants and the breadth of research on offer, and as such there is sure to be something to pique interest in the Congress Review found within this eJournal, both for those who were in attendance at the event and simply want to refresh their memory, and for those within the field who were unable to be present and are interested in staying up-to-date with the latest cutting-edge research.
Inside EMJ Rheumatology 5.1, authors of presentations at EULAR summarise the findings and wider implications of their research in the Abstract Review section, whilst our assortment of peer-reviewed articles covers topics ranging from primary Sjögren’s syndrome to dietary components in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.
With plenty to offer, EMJ Rheumatology 5.1 is sure to showcase fascinating content that will spark countless hours of intense debate and discussion, no doubt leading to further developments and breakthrough discoveries in the treatment of rheumatological disorders.
