Get to know Fresenius Medical Care’s ECMO offering – a dedicated technology combining both, heart and lung support in one single platform. The Xenios console is an extracorporeal life support system that provides extracorporeal circulation and physiologic gas exchange for patients suffering from cardiac and/or pulmonary insufficiency.

Our experts Emma Haaf and Dr. Torsten Rinne, presents insights on the Xenios console and answered all the questions from the audience during our Q&A section.

Speakers

Emma Haaf – Product Manager Responsible for active medical devices and their digital solutions. Her focus is on the topics of electrics and software for our core product, the Xenios console.

 

Dr. Torsten Rinne – Medical expert, Dr Rinne has specialized in anesthesiology, with a long working experience also in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery and critical care medicine at the University Hospital of Frankfurt. He is now Medical Director and head of the Therapy Office for heart and lung treatments at Fresenius Medical Care.
