This review article covers the learning lounge educational session that took place on 22nd of October 2022, as part of IDWeek 2022, held in Washington D.C., USA. The article highlights vaccine hesitancy in the general population, which was observed during the COVID-19 pandemic, and was considered to be one of the top 10 threats to global health by the World Health Organization (WHO).
