Biographies of speakers

Harry Gibbs is the Program Director of Outpatients Program and Deputy Director of General Medicine at The Alfred Hospital, Melbourne, Australia. Gibbs is also an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. He has worked at various centres of excellence in both Australia and the USA. His interests are in cardiovascular and general medicine, with a particular interest in thrombosis and anticoagulant therapy. In 2018, he was part of the team to win the MJA, MDA National Prize for Excellence in Medical Research. Gibbs is currently a board member of The Australian and New Zealand Society for Vascular Surgery (ANZSVS).
