Anna Sureda

Anna Sureda

Sureda is Head of the Clinical Hematology Department at the Institut Cata d’Oncologia Hospital Duran i Reynals, Barcelona, Spain.  

With an extensive background in hematology, she has served as Senior Consultant at both Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau in Barcelona and Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge University Hospital in the UK, where she specialised in lymphomas and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.  

Throughout her career, Anna has focused on clinical investigations in the treatment of Hodgkin’s lymphoma, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and multiple myeloma, evaluating novel therapies such as immunotherapy combined with stem cell transplantation. She has held significant leadership roles and is currently President of the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT).
