In this issue

DERMATITIS is a skin irritation encompassing atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, and diaper dermatitis, which manifest as red, itchy, flaky, inflammatory conditions. If the skin barrier is disrupted and broken, it can be infiltrated by antigens, allergens, irritants, and other external factors. These external factors may trigger an inflammatory cascade when combined with internal factors, such as genetic predisposition to dermatitis, resulting in acute, subacute, and chronic skin conditions.
