Speaker bio:

Samuel Washington completed his undergraduate education at the University of California Davis, USA, with a BSc in Genetics. He then completed his medical school training at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF), USA, as well as a urology residency and urologic oncology fellowship, before becoming Assistant Professor of Urology. He has received research grants from the UCSF Academy of Medical Educators and the UCSF Center of Aging in Diverse Communities, through the National Institute of Aging. Samuel is also a member of the American Urological Association (AUA) and the Society for Urologic Oncology. He has published numerous peer-reviewed papers and sits on multiple committees, as well as editorial boards.
