The use of prostate artery embolisation (PAE), a minimally invasive alternative to surgical treatment options, is explored in this review article, which offers an extensive overview of different management regimens and treatment approaches for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Despite having been established as a standard option in the care pathway for this condition, uncertainties surrounding PAE’s precise role and long-term outcomes have remained unresolved.
