Axial spondyloarthritis (AxS) and psoriatic arthritis (PsA) are two types of chronic inflammatory disease presented with an array of unmet needs regarding their diagnosis and management. This article reviews a series of abstracts presented at the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) 2021 European Virtual Congress of Rheumatology and covers existing issues surrounding these inflammatory diseases, current ongoing studies, and different approaches to their management.
