Speaker bio:
Byungol ‘Bill’ Chun moved to the USA from Korea at the age of 12. Being raised by a single mother helped to lead Chun to the career of a gynaecologist, and he completed his medical degree at the Ohio State University College of Medicine, Columbus, USA. He then worked at Boston City Hospital, now known as the Boston Medical Center, in Massachusetts, USA, during his residency. Chun has worked in communities in North Boston for 25 years, and is the leading provider of minimally-invasive robotic surgery in New England.
Chun is very familiar with podcasts, as he hosts his own: ‘The Bill Chun Show’. Here, Chun shares the stories of immigrants, and discusses parenthood, the healthcare system in the USA, and the challenges that modern life brings.
