Rodney Rohde is Regents’ Professor and Associate Director of the Translational Health Research Center at Texas State University, USA, and Chair of the Medical Laboratory Science Program in the College of Health Professions. With over a decade of experience as a microbiologist and molecular epidemiologist at the Texas Department of State Health Services, Rohde’s research spans antimicrobial resistance, healthcare-associated infections, and emerging zoonotic diseases like rabies and hantavirus. He is a leading voice in infectious diseases diagnostics and public health education, having published widely and delivered over 100 keynote presentations.
