Speaker bio:

Karin Butler obtained her BSc in neuroscience from the University of Bristol, UK, and MSc in health economics and decision modelling from the University of Sheffield, UK. She climbed the ladder from Graduate Health Economist to Research Assistant, Research Analyst and Senior Analyst at various consultancies, until she eventually joined York Health Economics, UK, as Project Director. Butler has been the technical economic lead on submissions to multiple agencies internationally and is experienced in model conceptualisation, development, validation, and reporting. She also has extensive experience in quantitative analysis to support economic cases such as indirect treatment comparison, survival analysis, and utility analysis.
