Dr Joubert Gama started his career by graduating from Liverpool Medical School, UK, and then went on to five years of postgraduate medical practice. Gama obtained certification in pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacovigilance from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, UK. Gama gained a fellowship at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians, London, UK. He is an avid volunteer within various organisations and serves as a Committee Member Diversity Interest Group in the PM Society, a not-for-profit organisation that believes creating and improving healthcare communications leads to better outcomes for patients.
Outside of his professional career Gama has coached soccer teams, enjoys watching football in his spare time, and listening to live music. Additionally, Gama has appeared in a range of television shows including Ready, Steady, Cook, as well as several quiz and antiques shows.
