Speaker bio:

After studying for his undergraduate degree in Physiological Sciences at the University of Oxford in the UK, Neil Patel gained an MB and Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Edinburgh, UK. As well as his roles as Clinical Lead at the West of Scotland Innovation Hub, and Clinical Innovation Director and Consultant Neonatologist at The Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow, UK, Patel is Honorary Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Glasgow, UK; Visiting Professor at the University of Strathclyde, UK; and a Senior Research Fellow for NHS Research Scotland. He is also Clinical Lead at the Scottish Women’s and Children’s Innovation Consortium.
