Monica Jain obtained a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University in Massachusetts, USA, before going on to pursue her medical degree at the same institution. After a general surgery residency at Cedars-Sinai Health System, Beverly Hills, California, USA, she undertook an endocrine surgery fellowship at the University of California’s San Francisco Medical Center, USA.
Jain now works as Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Minimally Invasive, Gastrointestinal and Endocrine Surgery, and as Surgical Innovation Officer at Cedars-Sinai; she is also a venture partner with Wavemaker Three-Sixty Health in Pasadena, California, USA. She is a member of multiple professional societies, has held leadership roles in education and clinical practice, and has won numerous awards.
