Bruce L. Gewertz is a nationally-known vascular surgeon with 40 years’ experience in academic medicine as a Department Chair, Vice Dean, and Hospital Vice-President. A prolific investigator, his research in physiology, health services, and human factors has been funded by the National Institute of Health (NIH), the U.S. Department of Defense, and the American Heart Association. Along with David Logan, he authored a successful book on physician development. He has served on a number of corporate boards and serves on the managing committee of an $80 M venture fund and Tech Stars associated accelerator.
