Frost & Sullivan Award to Ebit (Esaote Group) for Suitestensa Technically Advanced Cardiovascular Information System Integration Platform – CVIS PACS

Genoa, 18 November 2015 –   Frost & Sullivan, a global organization collaborating with international companies to leverage innovation and growth opportunities, presented the “2015 European Award for Technology Leadership” to Ebit, the Esaote’s Healthcare IT Company focused on developing and selling RIS CVIS PACS software for integrated workflows in hospital enterprise processes. The Frost & Sullivan Award recognizes Ebit for Suitestensa CVIS PACS, an advanced Cardiovascular Information System Integration Platform.

Based on a Frost & Sullivan recent analysis of the cardiovascular information system (CVIS) market, Suitenstensa was acknowledged as a highly innovative and comprehensive IT system.  Suitestensa CVIS-PACS is the most complete software suite, encompassing all cardiology specialities and allowing diagnostic image acquisition, archiving, distribution and management within healthcare networks.   Its peculiar strength, enabling doctors to access and track both current and previous patient reports, images, and test results, is extremely helpful to develop a thorough and valid diagnostic plan, while reducing times and costs involved.

Born first within the cardiovascular department, Suitestensa is now an “enterprise –wide” IT system, that shares data and information between hospital departments and even hospitals, also thanks to its aligned archiving server systems. Featuring an effective equipment vendor-agnostic profile, Suitestensa has a broad compatibility and interoperability of all software, technologies, and modalities involved, so that it has a multi-departmental approach managing diagnostics from Cardiac Catheterization, Electrophysiology, Echocardiography, Electrocardiography, General Cardiology, Cardiovascular Surgery, Interventional Cardiology and Endovascular Surgery.

“Ebit’s primary commercialisation focus has been its home market of Italy, where it currently holds more than 50 percent of the market share,” noted Frost & Sullivan Research Analyst Siddharth Saha. “Even when Suitestensa expanded into different markets such as Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, China, Germany and parts of Eastern Europe, Ebit continued to offer full technological support for the platform by building and maintaining support facilities in those countries or regions.”

Each year, Frost & Sullivan presents this award to a company that has developed a pioneering technology that not only enhances current products but also enables the development of newer products and applications.

Krishna Srinivasan, Global President and Managing Partner, Frost & Sullivan, sums up “Technology-rich companies with strong commercialisation strategies benefit from the increased demand for high-quality, technologically innovative products. We are pleased to recognise Ebit for its abiding investment and continuous focus in leveraging technology to drive customer value and business impact.”

Great satisfaction in Ebit and Esaote team for this new award, recognizing the commitment of the Group to deliver innovation and to meet the continuously changing demands of the healthcare community.
