Raymond Chung is an established Gastroenterologist and Transplant Hepatologist; Director of the Hepatology and Liver Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, USA; and Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Boston Massachusetts, USA. Chung completed his first degree at Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, and went on to gain his medical degree from Yale School of Medicine, New Haven, Connecticut, USA. He has been both a Resident and Clinical Fellow at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, and has worked at Massachusetts General Hospital for 20 years. He has won many awards and has held a number of professional positions across his career, including President of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD). Chung has published almost 600 papers as author or co-author.
