This presentation offers insight into chimeric antigen receptor-transduced (CAR) natural killer (NK) cells, providing an update on the involvement of these cells in a host of topics, from stem cell transplantation to cancer. Data is provided in this webinar from research conducted on acute myeloid leukaemia, lymphocytic leukaemia, lymphoma, and myeloma, describing the promise CAR-NK therapies offer.

Speaker:

Marc Braunstein is an Assistant Professor at the NYU Long Island School of Medicine, NYU Perlmutter Cancer Center, New York City, USA, with a subspecialty practice in the area of haematologic malignancies. He is part of this institution’s blood and marrow transplantation team, with a main research focus on cancer immunology. In practice, Braunstein works with patients in both an inpatient and outpatient setting, co-directing the haematology curriculum, and serving as Program Director for the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program. In addition to this, he sits on the American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy (ASTCT) Committee on Education and the American Society of Hematology (ASH) Committee on Educational Affairs, and is Vice-Chair of the New York Chapter of the American College of Physicians (ACP) Committee for Early Career Physicians.
