Douglas Drossman is Professor Emeritus of Medicine and Psychiatry at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and President Emeritus of the Rome Foundation. He is a world-renowned leader in functional gastrointestinal disorders, having pioneered research in neuromodulators and cognitive behavioural therapy for gut disorders. Through his work at DrossmanCare, he is dedicated to improving patient-doctor communication and enhancing patient-centred care.
