Eleonora De Martin, MD
Consultant transplant hepatologist at the Centre Hépato-Biliaire, Paul Brousse Hospital in France
De Martin is the Director of the Reference Center for Rare Diseases ‘inflammatory diseases of the bile ducts and autoimmune hepatitis’. Past Chair of ILTS Vanguard Committee and and a steering committee member of the ILTS Liver Transplant Immunology Special Interest Group. Her fields of interest include various aspects of liver transplantation, autoimmune hepatitis in particular severe acute and fulminant forms and hepatic toxicity of immunotherapy for metastatic cancer.
Ingo van Thiel
Patient advocate from Deut-sche Leber hilfe e.V., the German Liver Aid Association
Van Thiel is a patient advisor and editor of the the liver patient magazine “Lebenszeichen,” and is fascinated by the subject of hepatology. He is neither a doctor nor a patient and sees himself as an information mediator between the two. As a patient representative, he regularly participates in the creation of guidelines on various liver diseases.
