Dr Fasiha Kanwal is a Professor of Medicine and Chief of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Baylor College of Medicine. She received her degree in medicine from the King Edward Medical College in Lahore, later taking on advanced training from the University of California. Her medical interests involve improving health-related quality of life, chronic liver disease, and viral hepatitis. She has additionally authored articles in Annals of Internal Medicine and American Journal of Gastroenterology, among others.
