Nail Changes: When to Suspect an Underlying Disease

Speaker: Michela Starace earned her medical degree from the University of Bologna, Italy, and then her PhD from the same institution. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical and Surgical Sciences at the University of Bologna. Starace is involved in numerous societies, is a founding member of the International Nail Society, and is responsible for organising the National Alopecia Areata Day in Italy. Starace is a prolific author, having published 178 papers in Italian and international journals, as well as 25 book chapters.
