Speaker Bio
Dobson undertook her medical training at the University of Leicester Medical School, UK, her foundation and core medical training at Mersey Deanery, UK, and subsequently completed cardiology specialty registrar training through the Mersey Cardiology Training Programme, UK. She also completed an MD research degree in Echocardiographic Assessment of Carcinoid Heart Disease at the University of Liverpool, UK. She currently holds a position as Consultant Cardio-Oncologist at the Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital. Dobson is passionate about improving gender imbalance in cardiology, and as well as leading the British Cardiovascular Society’s Women in Cardiology team, she is an education committee member for Women As One.
