Patrick Short, CEO, Sano Genetics, has a background in genomics research with a focus on large-scale genome sequencing projects and rare disorders. While completing a PhD in Mathematical Genomics and Medicine from the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute and the University of Cambridge, he came up with the idea for Sano Genetics. The company was founded in 2017 and has a mission to connect patients to genetic research opportunities to support the future of personalised medicine.
