Catherine Owen joined Bristol-Myers Squibb in 2019, in the midst of the merger between BMS and Celgene. She oversees operations in 19 key global markets, and covers BMS’ portfolio of prescription medicines in haematology, oncology, immunology and cardiovascular. She has over 20 years of leadership experience, having worked for other companies such as AstraZeneca and Janssen. She has a degree in pharmacy from the University of Manchester, along with a post-graduate degree in marketing from the University of London. She is enthusiastic about developing people both professionally and personally and, in 2018, received the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association Luminary award.
