Cecilia is a board-certified Gynaecologist/Obstetrician having worked in the Gynaecology and Obstetrics department of the University Hospital of Coimbra (Portugal). Cecilia joined Bayer in 2015, as part of the Medical Affairs Women’s Healthcare team, having had roles of increasing responsibilities across Reproductive Health and Menopause Management, as well as being Medical Lead in sustainability and social responsibility projects, BD&L and Femtech. Cecilia is currently the Global Medical and Evidence Lead for Women’s Health, responsible for driving the medical and evidence generation strategy, with a strong focus on Menopause. A strong advocate for Women’s Health, Cecilia is truly committed to bring focus, education, awareness and innovation into this field, towards her mission of making the world a better place for women.
