The prevalence of atrial fibrillation (AF) and ventricular tachycardia (VT) is predicted to grow significantly over the next few decades. While catheter ablation is a safe and effective treatment option, the imaging modalities that accompany the procedure require optimisation. In this review, Sha et al. emphasise the benefits of incorporating intracardiac echocardiography (ICE) during catheter ablation.
