EMJ Cardiology 8 [Supplement 2] . 2020

In this issue

The complexity of heart failure (HF) can make treatment decisions difficult, especially in those with worsening HF events. EMJ conducted an interview with key opinion leaders to better understand the impact of prior worsening HF events in patients with HF with reduced ejection fraction. Prof Jereon Bax, Leiden University Medical Centre (LUMC), Leiden, the Netherlands, and Prof Javed Butler, University of Mississippi, Oxford, Mississippi, USA, provided insights into the treatment of this difficult-to-treat patient population.
