Isabelle Amigues is a renowned physician who blends Western and Eastern medicine to provide a holistic approach to healing. She earned her MSc from Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris and her MD from Université Claude Bernard in Lyon, followed by extensive training at prestigious institutions like Memorial Sloan Kettering, Columbia University, and Mount Sinai in New York. Isabelle spent the early part of her career as an academic clinician and leader in Rheumatology at National Jewish Health in Denver. However, her personal battle with stage IV breast cancer at age 40 reshaped her perspective on medicine.
Driven to explore complementary and Eastern practices, Isabelle now leads UnabridgedMD, where she integrates cutting-edge, data-driven Western medicine with traditional Eastern healing techniques. Her focus on the mind-body connection empowers patients and their families, with a treatment philosophy centred on “hope driven by science.”
