About the speaker:

James Kim is a general practitioner with a special interest in chronic diseases, especially diabetes and chronic migraine. He is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine, University of Calgary, Canada. After graduating in South Africa, he completed a post-graduate diploma in Diabetes in 2012 and is peer reviewer and editorial board member for numerous medical journals. Kim has given presentations on diabetes, chronic migraine, binge eating disorder and ADHD. Within Diabetes Canada, his roles include committee member for the Clinical Practice Guideline, co-chair of Primary Care Special Interest Group, and has been a scientific planning committee member for the Annual Diabetes Canada Conference.
