Burstein, MD, PhD, of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, MA, explains the development of multigene tests, such as the Oncotype DX® Breast Cancer Assay and the PAM50 test, for classifying breast cancer into different subtypes. Luminal A and B subtypes of breast cancer may have important predictive value in the clinic.
