The Economist Events’ Global Crisis of Obesity Summit

According to the World Health Organisation more than 1.9bn adults were overweight in 2014. With reports suggesting that one-fifth of adults around the world will be obese by 2025 is the United Nations’ goal to halt the increase in obesity by 2025 in jeopardy?

The summit will bring together for the first time a unique group of decision-makers including; regional and international policymakers from different sectors and senior professionals from across health care, pharmaceutical and medical devices industries and food and drink sector amongst others to find common ground and create new solutions to tackle obesity and diabetes.
